When twins Naomi and Noah Chen were orphaned at age seven, they never imagined their grandfather's fantastical stories about cultivation, immortality, and magical worlds were anything but fiction. Now, twenty-one years later, Wei Liu prepares for a cosmic event that will open a portal to his homeland—a world he hasn't seen in a century.

When Wei disappears, the twins follow him to a remote mountaintop where an impossible doorway shimmers beneath a passing comet. As the portal begins to close, only one of them steps through, leaving the other behind in our world.

In a realm where cultivation energy flows like water and immortals wage secret wars, ancient prophecies begin to unfold. The newcomer discovers Wei's tales were real—and that he was once part of the powerful Mystic Palace sect now threatening to dominate all others. Captured by the enigmatic Moon River Sect and its compelling leader Wang Xihe, the twin learns of an ancestral bloodline that grants unique power in this realm.

Navigating rival disciples, forbidden attraction, and growing abilities, the prophecy's chosen vessel must master an ancient heritage before Mystic Palace discovers the truth. The salvation of an entire civilization may rest on one twin's shoulders—while the other remains a world away, forever separated by a choice made in a single moment.
